IT'S NATIONAL PRINCIPAL'S MONTH!!!

Week of October 20-24, 2014

Hello awesome 6th graders and parents!

Hoping everyone is doing great and anxious to begin a new lesson!

This week in 6th grade honors math we will begin adding integers with the same sign and different signs.
Integers are like whole numbers, but they also include negative numbers ... but still no fractions allowed!

Here are a few real life situations in which integers can be used:

Spending and earning money.
Rising and falling temperatures.
Stock market gains and losses.
Gaining and losing yards in a football game.
What other situations can you think about?

HOPE YOU ARE READY FOR THIS FUN LESSON!!

REMINDERS:

BE RESPONSIBLE! (A LOT OF YOU STILL NEED MORE TRAINING ON THIS)

PRACTICE YOUR MATH DAILY! (SOME OF YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL WITH SILLY OPERATION MISTAKES)

ASK MISS LOPEZ QUESTIONS IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT!

PROGRESS REPORTS ARE AROUND THE CORNER SO MAKE SURE YOUR GRADES ARE MAINTAINED SO THAT YOU CAN DO GREAT!

M.I.T CLASS REPRESENTATIVES ELECTIONS NEXT WEEK! WE NEED RESPONSIBLE 6TH GRADERS TO DO THE JOB!

WISH MRS. GONZALEZ A HAPPY NATIONAL PRINCIPAL'S MONTH FOR THE TREMENDOUS JOB SHE DOES AT AC2E M.S.
