Mighty Falcons,
We have 4 more instructional days for STAAR! We are all in this together, let's work hard to hit those master's level scores. Please be at school everyday so that you do not miss out on our reviews. Remember you will also be practicing math concepts with Mr. Carmona these next four days so make sure you listen and try your best to polish up any misconceptions you may have. Go over your STAAR review booklets that I gave you last week and practice, practice, practice your math. We believe in you!
Also, best wishes to all our band members at your spring concert and competition at SPI.

Mighty Falcons,
Welcome to the 2nd week of the 6th six weeks! We are done with our 6th grade math curriculum meaning we will begin to review for the STAAR. Some of you have been absent so please ensure you see me during recess to catch up on missing lessons/work, you know where the math
recess passes are located. It is imperative that you are not absent so you do not miss out on our Math STAAR review. Math reviews always make a big difference; it is the difference between simply passing or earning a master's level, which is an 82 or above. You can do it!
Those of you assigned to tutorials, please ensure you continue to attend Saturday sessions, your academic growth is evident.

Week of April 16-20, 2018
Welcome to the last six weeks of your sixth grade careers!
I am proud of your district benchmark #2 scores; I believe there will be many more of you that earn a master's level on your STAAR. We must work hard to hit those scores. Together we can do it all!
This week we will wrap up the last few lessons of our curriculum and begin to review for our STAAR. It is important that each of you work hard and try your very best not to miss school so that we practice our math everyday before STAAR. Those of you assigned to tutorials, please ensure you continue to attend Saturday sessions, your academic growth is evident.
Reminders:
This week is National Library Week. Let's stay involved! See pic below.
